WHAT TYPE OF PETS/ANIMALS DO YOU CARE FOR?

We love pets! Any animal considered legal within the state of Colorado to have as a pet companion, we will care for.  (Not all sitters provide care for all pet types).

DO YOU HAVE ANY BREED RESTRICTIONS?

No.  However, we do require a FREE Meet and Greet prior to accepting any new client/pet in order to verify compatibility between sitter, family, and pet(s).

HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN PET SITTING?

Must Love Fur was established in December of 2011.  You can find out more about each team member and their history with pets here.

CAN YOU SUPPLY REFERENCES?

Yes.  Each sitter is able to supply 2-3 reference contacts by request (we always check with our clients before giving out any contact information).

ARE YOU BONDED AND/OR INSURED?

Yes, all team members are bonded and insured.

WHAT AREAS DO YOU SERVE?

We currently serve Broomfield, Lafayette, Louisville, Superior, North Central and North West Westminster, Federal Heights, and Arvada. Check back with us often as we are always expanding!

WHAT TIMES ARE YOU AVAILABLE FOR VISITS?

Daytime visits typically occur between 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM in order to accommodate our overnight shifts.  Some sitters are available earlier or later by request.  Our overnight care typically begins between 7-8pm.

HOW OFTEN CAN YOU VISIT?

We tailor a visit plan to best suit the needs of each animal client.  Our goal is to follow a schedule as close to their normal routine as possible.

HOW LONG DO YOUR VISITS LAST?

Visit lengths are typically between 30 minutes to 1 hour, by request.

WHAT DO YOU DO AT EACH VISIT?

Each visit is tailored to the individual needs of our clients.  We do our best to follow the routine and activities most desired by pet and pet parent alike.

CAN YOU STAY OVERNIGHT AT MY HOME WITH MY PET?

Yes.  We currently offer two types of overnight services. Our regular Overnight Stay covers 12hrs of care.  Our Home Stay provides a minimum of 18hrs of care per day.

WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?

  1. Non-Holiday Vacation Services
    • Cancellations may be made 7 or more days in advance of your scheduled non-holiday Vacation service and any deposit will be applied as credit for future services. If canceling less than 7 days prior to the first day of your scheduled non-holiday vacation service period, deposit is forfeit.
  2. Holiday Vacation Services
    • Cancellations may be made 60 days in advance of your holiday vacation service and any deposit will be applied as credit for future services. If cancelling less than 60 days prior to the first day of your scheduled holiday vacation service, deposit is forfeit.
  3. In-town, non-vacation Play Date clients
    • Cancellations made 24hrs or more in advance of a Play Date—any deposit is credited to account for future services.
    • After 8pm the night before the scheduled Play Date—25% of service will be due.
    • After 8am the day of scheduled service, up to 100% of the total service amount may be applied.
  4. Cancellations made by in-town/daily visit clients due to inclement weather is exempt from fees.

WHAT VACCINATIONS DO MY PETS NEED?

Because we provide in-your-home care we don’t not require proof of vaccinations.  We strongly recommend you provide routine veterinary care for your pets and abide by all state/city legal requirements.

CAN I CALL OR EMAIL TO CHECK ON MY PETS WHILE I AM GONE?

We use a secure online software as a communications hub for our clients.  It allows you to communicate with your sitter any time.  You can also call us to check in on your fury family.  Should our hands be full providing care, we’ll return your call as soon as we can.

HOW CAN I BE SURE MY HOUSE KEY IS SECURE WITH YOU?

We do not mark our keys with any information that could be linked to your home so that, even in the event a keychain breaks or a key goes missing (we do our best to safeguard against this), your key is just a random piece of metal if not in our hands.

WHO/HOW DO I PAY FOR SERVICES?

  • Payments and Deposits:
    1. Non-Holiday Vacation Services
      1. Reservations during non-holiday dates require a non-refundable deposit of 25% of total services with a max of $100 due to be received 60 days prior to the beginning of services. If booking services under 60 days prior to departure, full deposit is due to reserve dates. This deposit will be applied toward payment once services begin. Remaining balance after deposit is due on the first date of services.  If you cancel services 7 days or more in advance, a credit in the full amount of deposit will be added to your account for future services.
    2. Holiday Vacation Services
      1. Reservations for holiday care require a non-refundable deposit of 50% of total services with a max of $300 due to be received 6 months prior to the beginning of services. If booking services under 6 months prior to departure, full deposit is due to reserve dates. This deposit will be applied toward payment once services begin. Remaining balance after deposit is due on the first date of services.  If you cancel services 30 days or more in advance, a credit in the full amount of deposit will be added to your account for future services.
    3. In-town, non-vacation clients
      1. We bill our weekly walk clients in 2 week increments. The first 2 weeks’ worth of services is due on the first day of services.

Services will be billed as listed on the Confirmation email.  Changes to services can be requested through the online software.

The sitter who provides the service gets paid for the work.  Please make checks payable to your sitter by name or ask them about credit card or online payment options.

I’D LIKE TO TIP MY SITTER, IS THAT AN OPTION?

Yes! Like our Holiday Surcharge, tips go directly to the sitter preforming the services you’ve requested.  Tipping is not required, but will be happily received as a sign of your love for us (since we only accept kisses from your pets…).  Thanks!

First step is to contact us.  This can occur online or by calling 720-427-0867 to be matched with the sitter nearest you.

You will be asked to complete an online profile through our secure software and we will work with you to schedule your Free Meet & Greet to make sure the  Must Love Fur team is a good match for your pet care needs.
